Who We Are
Amy Jo Scott Frischling, MS, CCC-SLP
Practice Owner
I’m a licensed speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience, specializing in speech-language evaluations and special education advising.
I founded this practice to bring families and fellow professionals the kind of support that’s both clinically grounded and strategically informed.
I’ve worked in both school-based and private practice settings, and I bring the added perspective of a parent who has walked this journey — from mainstream classrooms to specialized schools. I know what it is like to struggle with finding the right support for your child.
In addition to professional experience as a speech-language pathologist, I also serves on the Board of Trustees at a special education school in Connecticut for 11 years. In that time, I came to deeply understand the inter-workings of many schools throughout the Tri-State Area (NY, NJ, CT). Now, I can share that knowledge with you!
AJSF Education Advisors is a solo practice, but my approach is multi-disciplinary. Whether I’m conducting an evaluation or guiding a placement conversation, I aim to equip families and collaborators with clarity, confidence, and options that fit each child’s unique profile.
